Is "AML "

in my life...
i ever experience this way...
is Hard time for me...
but i believe this will be even Hard to my friend
a friend that i got to know 1 year...
friend that i stayed for 1 year...
a friend that very Good,caring,clean!!!
a friend that i will ever scare sometime...
cause she is too firm...leader head of our house...
she can cope problem by herself...never ask from others...
just passed few weeks her auntie funeral...
she is the one who settle everything ...
she is always STRONG image to me...
never change...NEVER...
but...all this has change....CHANGE!!!
until i got to know this BAD news on Sunday evening...
i still remember i finished chit chat with my friend...
decided to order delivery for my dinner...
after my dinner...this BAD news come to me...
one of my housemate ask me to go to her room...
and said : shirley i have something to tell you!!
i was wondering...birthday party??exam??or holidays??
BUT...all these NOT RELATE at all...
she said: CY got blood cancer !!!!!
me: WHAT??????????
me : are you serious?? are you sure???
she : "yes...confirmed few days ago...and this afternoon...
she already went to KL for future checking...
see how serious it is... "
WHY??WHAT??HOW COME??
Oh my Goodness...
i cannot accept at all!!!it is impossible for now!!
she looks nothing...she looks fine...

yesterday Doctor got all her blood to check...
and today the result is out...
she had AML (Acute Myelogenous Leukemia)...
which stage??no one dare to ask her...
then i check online...what is this about...
until i read the whole things...i can't believe all this!!!
why it is AML...!!!!

do you know how i feel??
i can't do anything...helpless...hopeless...
i don't know how to calm her...
i believe she in her difficulty now...
she even SAD then anyone of us...

tomorrow...
she going to start her treatment...
i knew the treatment...
is very painful...
the pray from me...
Lord please help her...
comfort her!!!

even i very worried now!!
but i believe that Lord you will comfort her...
give her strength and power to stand!!
i believe CY you can do it...
be strong ya my friend...
will come and visit you this friday...

Acute Myelogenous Leukemia is most common in older people because it is a genetic abnormality that is acquired during a person’s life and not inherited from their parents. Radiation and chemotherapy increase the risk of a person developing AML, but some genetic disorders such as Down’s Syndrome and Fanconi anemia can increase the risk as well. Sometimes a higher than normal rate of leukemia is found in a particular family. They may have inherited an increased susceptibility to AML. When the person acquires the damage to the DNA of developing bone marrow cells it causes uncontrolled, quickened growth and the production of normal cells is blocked
